After the electric network service of the north of competitive bidding failed, Nokia Siemens take aim sight to Motorola. The reporter learnt yesterday, Nokia Siemens was attempting to purchase network equipment business of Motorola with 1,100 million – 1,300 million dollars, both sides are discussing the concrete clause purchased at present.

It is reported, Motorola is planning to divide the company into two, a company among them will be responsible for network equipment and enterprise’s communication products business, but another company is responsible for mobile phone and TV set-box business. Its department of network equipment mainly offers network equipment products to the previous generation, it is mainly for getting the users of Motorola that Nokia Siemens purchases this business of Motorola, in order to obtain the network staging contract in the future.

The apparatus of Motorola has larger application in the networks of operators such as Verizon is wireless and Sprint Nextel, etc. at present, the profit was up to 3,600 million dollars last year. And before this, Motorola unites chief executive officer Clague and Brown to represent, will consider selling the network business segments of the company.

Nokia Siemens is a basic apparatus manufacturer of the second leading telecommunication in the world, its global market share is 20%, but this company does not reap on the rich North American market of the profit more. At the end of last year, Nokia Siemens has attempted to march into the North American market through purchasing the electric CDMA business of the north, but in the assets are bought at competitive price, are defeated by the basic apparatus manufacturer Ericsson of the first leading telecommunication in the world.

The research company Infonetics Research Company of the market released the result that global WiMAX service strategy was investigated for 2009~2011 years a few days ago, the result is shown in entire interviewees, 59% of the users hope to offer VoIP based on WiMAX service before 2011 years, these indicate the pronunciation based on WiMAX serves the new source of revenue of increasing able to become the operator.

It is reported, in this all interviewees, 41% come from Asian-Pacific area, 36% come from Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) ,18% come from North America, 5% come from Central Europe and Latin America (CALA) . At present, the increasingly many GSM operator is entering WiMAX market, attempts to rely on the most credible consumption brand to offer basic broadband service, and WiMAX has service choice of cost-effective even more.

The analyst Richard Webb of Infonetics Research Company says: ” Though WiMAX service strategy is different to some extent among between different operators and different markets, but great majority run commercial city put in on less fixing and nomadic broadband, WiMAX of type, of investing in serve especially, in order to solved and served the market of deficient broadband, a lot of operators have already made and migrated to and moved the plan in WiMAX network over the next several years. We have interviewed a lot of operators, have mostly shown, VoIP, CPE and apparatus replenish, and prepaid fee and particular price are the constituent element that they serve wholly. ”

At present, some operators, apparatus traders in WiMAX industry have already aimed at sight to move the speech business (VoIP) ,The operator is in order to migrate all networks to while moving WiMAX, serving, must continue disposing the infrastructure of network, so as to ensure the coverage and can support to move and roam, make the ecosystem of mobile equipment more various, consumers can afford even more.

I think too, as to operator, developing WiMAX VoIP business should higher than the profit that other business such as the data bring forever, in addition, lack the wireless infrastructure, especially remote area far away from city in those, offer it because of WiMAX VoIP service, the cost will be lower than the cellular network, these are vast to move good major cause that the operator sees.

VoIP and combination of WiMAX realize mutual supplement with each other’s advantages, take what one needs well, but also very good title deed for land shut on the intersection of communication and main trend of technical development, can bring the huge income at the same time. At present, Samsung, ECS have already researched and developed VoIP netphone based on WiMAX platform, great to reach the electric bimodulus mobile phone of a integrated WiMAX/GSM and is employed etc. in Russia.

However, with the appearance of the WiMAX VoIP cell-phone, its business has already been launched, but still face some challenges. If the price of the WiMAX cell-phone is a bit expensive, the large standby time of electric consumption is short, add the high area of some mobile phone popularity, if can’t offer than more abundant content, it will be unable to attract the use of more users, this is a difficult problem faced at present too.

U.S.A. is the most developed country of telecommunication industry in the world, it is that VoIP develops the one of the most flourishing countries in the world at the same time. The statistics show, U.S.A. VoIP users exceed 4,500,000 at the end of 2005, business receipt is over 1 billion dollars. In 2008, the whole North American VoIP user reaches 24 million, is expected to be more this year. Move the news and predict, the demand for moving WiMAX service will be promoted by the data traffic, speech business to a great extent, it is estimated the share that the speech business is moving WiMAX service market will be no less than 10% in 2012, and North America will become market of maximum and 32% that would occupy the global market in 2012 which will move WiMAX speech business.

use a multi-channel security DVR. The analog/composite (yellow RCA jack) connects to the video in of the security DVR. Some of these security DVRs are single channel… or 4 channel or 8 channel or 16 channel. Each channel can accept a single video input.

Using a computer client or the option menu selections on the security DVR, you can set motion detection areas and the sensitivity of the motion detection system. If you have a large enough hard drive (my small 4-channel systems use a 500 gig drive), there can be recording for over 30 days at a single frame each 5 seconds – but when motion is detected, the DVR switches to capturing live, real-time for up to 15 seconds after the motion is no longer detected.

If you want full motion all the time, then that reduces the amount of recording time on the hard drive. If you attach more than 1 camera, then there is less recording time. Many of the security DVRs can be assigned an IP address and connected to a computer network for remote video review…

You *could* install a security “quad splitter” capture card in a computer to do the same thing.

There are video cards that support a number of input formats: F-connector, composite, S-Video, maybe BNC.

Shop around for the right video card – you dont tell us what the cctv device is so it is hard to be more specific with the answer.

Alternatively, you can buy a camera that becomes a network device and you can view the output of the camera through a web browser. Capture the video stream with VLC or some other program if you like. That solution just requires a ethernet connection and cabling (or wireless).

Connecting a CCTV Camera to a Video Server

There is no question that the world of video surveillance is changing. The interest in IP Video surveillance systems is increasing rapidly and it will soon replace analog CCTV as the standard for Video Security and Surveillance. The transition from an analog system to an IP based system can be confusing to say the least. With many companies already having invested in their current CCTV security system, the thought of abandoning their current investment to keep up with technology can be difficult. In fact, for most companies, rolling out an entire IP based system and abandoning an existing CCTV system would not be cost effective. Companies interested in receiving the benefits offered by IP Video Surveillance should consider a transition into the IP world that would still allow them to utilize the investment in their current CCTV cameras. This transition can easily be achieved by connecting a CCTV camera to a Video Server.
Why Connect a CCTV Camera to a Video Server

You may ask yourself why you would want to connect a CCTV camera to a video server. If you connect a CCTV camera to a video server, you instantly add all the benefits of an IP based system to your existing CCTV camera. The combination of the CCTV camera and the video server effectively creates an IP based camera solution. Video servers share many of the same features as IP cameras including a built-in web server. Motion detection recording, FTP uploads, e-mail snapshots and remote access are just some of the benefits instantly available once you connect a CCTV camera to a video server.

Installing Your Video Server

The next thing you would need to know is how to connect a CCTV camera to a video server. This process is usually quite simple. The first step is to get the video server on your network. Most video servers should be DHCP compatible allowing them to obtain an IP address from your computer network once plugged in. Once the video server is powered up and connected to the network, you will need to run the video server’s IP utility to search for and locate the video server on the network. If the video server is not found by the IP utility, then you may need to change your computer’s IP address to an IP address in the same range as the default IP of the video server. Once the IP utility finds the video server, you can then log in and make any configuration changes required. It is strongly recommended that the video server be given a static IP address at this point to ensure consistent connectivity.

Connecting Your CCTV Camera to the Video Server

With the video server now setup and accessible on your network, you are ready to connect a CCTV camera to the video server. The CCTV camera should be equipped with a BNC connector on the end of the video cable. Simply connect the BNC connector to the “Video In” on the video server and the images should be viewable from the video server’s web interface. If the video server has more than one channel, you can connect other CCTV cameras to the remaining “Video In” connectors. If the CCTV camera(s) and video server support audio, then you should connect the audio cable from the camera (or external microphone) after connecting the video feed. Some video servers may also come with a communication port for Pan/Tilt/Zoom controls on the CCTV camera. If this is the case, you should refer to the documentation for both the video server and the CCTV camera for instructions on connection and configuration of the Pan/Tilt/Zoom controls.

Don’t Be Limited by the Capabilities of a CCTV System

In conclusion, don’t be limited by the capabilities of an existing CCTV surveillance system for fear of losing the investment in CCTV Cameras. Video Servers provide investment protection for companies who have already installed a CCTV security system, and now want to add the benefits of IP network security.

The criteria you mentioned seem to apply only to
reliable paid hosting.

I don’t know why you insist on free hosting service
because from the business point of view, they
don’t provide reliable server to run your website,
even though you upgrade to become their paid users
later on.

When you face an urgent matter, they can’t help
you instantly since they only provide email support.

But if you’re building a personal website just to
share with your closed friends and family and not
using it as a business platform, then that probably
justifies your choice.

I personally would not recommend any free web hosting
service for my clients who run businesses because
they really stinks. I’ve used several of them when
I first started out, but they failed me.

Again, if you just want to build a non-profitable
website, any free hosting service will do the trick.
But if you intend to go into business, then I would
suggest you to go get a reliable paid hosting service
which is easy to use, navigate, has efficient web
tools and has faster loading time, as per your expectation.

You might want to refer to the website below which
I found pretty useful and helpful for those who
wanted to know which web hosting service works best
for them.
